Willaura Kindergarten provides a nurturing, warm and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, inquire, investigate, discover, experiment and most of all develop a sense of belonging as they discover all they amazing things they are capable of. The program operates at as an integrated three and four year old group and the emergent curriculum develops as children's interests, thoughts, ideas and feelings begin to emerge. Staff work with the children to provide them with the necessary tools and equipment for them to explore and bring to life their ideas and new concepts. The program is flexible and staff use intentional teaching strategies designed to extend children's thinking, question their understandings and further develop new concepts. Willaura Kindergarten believes that children are capable, active participants and decision makers in their own learning. If you would like to be a part of little students learning journey, please talk to your careers teacher about how to apply for this opportunity.
