Reece Plumbing in Caroline Springs is a fantastic opportunity for students to complete a short term block placement before deciding on a career in Plumbing or taking up the possibility of the SBATS they currently offer.
Working both within the retail store and out the back, this opportunity is sure to provide students with a range of skills and knowledge related to both Plumbing and retail.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will learn about the products sold through Reece Plumbing and also observe the works being done on site. Students can expect to learn workplace safety and basic safe use of tools. They will be taking stock and assisting trades people and retail customers.

Student Requirements

This is a block placement only that is open to both work experience and SWL students. Block placements will be across either 1 or 2 weeks maximum. Students will be required to attend the site and meet the manager prior to starting their placement.

Dress Requirements

Discussed with the manager upon meeting before the placement. Students will be required to wear appropriate safety boots.

Special Transport Requirements

There is a local bus stop and ample parking for pick up and drop off.
