Murray River Council currently has two positions available in the engineering services department. We are seeking candidate interested in undergoing a traineeship in plant operation based in the Moulamein depot.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Observe general plant operation and labouring duties associated with road construction, road maintenance, town maintenance and road drainage duties within Council boundaries

Attend regular Toolbox meetings with the relevant team.

Student Requirements

Students must be willing to communicate clearly and work as a productive team member.

Dress Requirements

All Personal Protective Equipment required to complete daily tasks and duties will be discussed with the student as part of the work experience induction.

Special Transport Requirements

Able to get to Moulamein Depot. (May be able to provide transport from Barham if required)
