This is a rare opportunity to work with a true all rounder with over 20 years experience in the building and construction industry. This is a reputable business operating in Cranbourne, Clyde, Berwick areas.. They specialize in taking the bare bones of a new block and turning it into something beautiful. They complete outdoor developments from fencing to driveways.

Skills You Might Learn

The student will further develop their skills in power tools, levels, maths, design and layout, customer service, measuring, laying lines.

Typical Tasks & Duties

You will be given an opportunity to learn many physically-oriented skills, such as fencing, concreting, retaining walls, decking, landscaping, laying turf. A real all rounder. You will develop your skills in measuring and planning. You will also develop your skills in safety awareness and OH&S knowledge

Student Requirements

The student will be required to wear work boots and a t-shirt. NO singlets or shorts. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who can follow instructions, is a good listener, reliable and punctual. You will need to be able to get to the worksite and please make sure you always have your sunscreen protector with you. Please check with employer regarding any COVID safe practices and immunisation requirements before starting placement.

The student will be required to wear work boots and a t-shirt. NO singlets or shorts.

Special Transport Requirements

Students will need to be able to attend the agreed address on time.
