This amazing Interior Design opportunity will allow SWL students to plan and implement creative decoration solutions for a variety of interior commercial and residential environments. With over 20 years of experience in renovating residential properties for profit, this employer will cater to the students requirements to ensure they are confident beyond hard materials and soft furnishing textiles for various client design briefs. This placement is suited for student completing their Certificate III in Interior Decoration Retail Services.

Typical duties the student may experience include:
Reading and interpreting work documents
Making measurements and calculations
Applying quality standards
Meeting Directly with Clients
Developing Decorative Plans
Selecting Decorative Elements
Assisting with Budget Management and Schedules
Engaging with Subcontractors

Student Requirements

This placements is best suited to VET/ VM students studying;
- Certificate III in Interior Decoration Retail Services or similar related fields.

This placement is offered to students with a genuine interest in the industry.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual, suitable for professional meetings.
- NO jeans / leggings.
- NO torn clothing.
- NO logo / branded clothing.
- Closed shoes (no scruffy shoes, no sneakers, no thongs)

Special Transport Requirements

The student or parent/guardian (where the student is under 18 years of age) is responsible for the student's transport to and from the workplace.

The salon is situated within Ivanhoe and can be reached via public train and bus networks.
